The short version
Pyxida is a desktop app that stores your data in a folder on your computer. We do not run servers that receive your notes, tasks, events, money entries or sketches, and the app contains no analytics or tracking.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Pyxida is written as ordinary files to the workspace folder you choose. App settings are stored in your operating system's app data folder. Secrets such as AI keys and calendar sign-in tokens are stored in your operating system's keychain or credential store.
When Pyxida connects to the internet
Only for features you use:
- License. When you activate, validate or deactivate a license, the app sends your license key and a device name to Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record.
- Google Calendar. If you connect Google, you sign in on Google's site and the app talks directly to Google's Calendar API from your computer to read, create and delete events you choose. Tokens are kept in your keychain. We never receive your Google data.
- Calendar links. If you subscribe to an ICS link, the app downloads it directly from that address.
- Ask Pyxida. If you add an AI provider, your messages and the relevant context (for example today's tasks and events) are sent directly from your computer to that provider, under their terms. Nothing is sent unless you ask.
- AI agents. If you connect an agent app such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or Cursor, it runs Pyxida on your computer and the results it reads are handled by that app and its AI provider, under their terms. Agents can only make changes if you turn that on.
- Updates. The app checks for and downloads new versions from our release server, which may log standard request data such as IP address.
Website and browser demo
This website and the browser demo use no cookies, analytics or trackers. The demo runs entirely in your browser with sample data; nothing you type is sent anywhere and it disappears when you close the tab. Our host (Vercel) processes standard request logs such as IP address to serve the site.
Google user data
Pyxida's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used only to show and edit your events inside the app on your device. It is not transferred to us or to third parties, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, which deletes the stored token, and revoke access from your Google account.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as merchant of record and processes your name, email, billing details and tax information under their own privacy policy. We receive order details needed to provide your license and support.
Your rights
Because your content never reaches us, you control it fully: you can read, edit, export or delete it at any time. For questions about purchase data, contact us at liakos.koulaxis@yahoo.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
